Boating Lake Overcup is accessible from two I-40 exits at Morrilton. Boaters can reach Lakeview Landing via Exit 107 at AR Highway 95. To reach Overcup Landing, use Exit 108 north and follow AR Highway 9 and turn west on AR Highway 915 to the lake. Both landings also feature wheelchair-accessible fishing piers. |
Lodging Campers who visit Lake Overcup might be delighted to know that Petit Jean State Park -- Arkansas' first state park -- is less than an hour's drive away from the lake. The park features the historic Mather Lodge, which reopened in 2012 after renovations. This lodge contains 24 guest rooms plus a new 50-person meeting room. The park also offers cabins and a campground with 125 camp sites, including 26 pull-through sites. Morrilton, located south of Lake Overcup on I-40 and the Arkansas River, offers several hotels.
