Gillham Lake The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers constructed this impoundment along the Cossatot River, creating Gillham Lake for flood control purposes. Although fairly isolated, the lake sees plenty of water recreation enthusiasts, especially for boating and fishing. Gillham Lake is known for its great largemouth bass fishing as well as for swimming and skiing. This lake is one of what are known as South Arkansas's tri-lakes with Dierks and DeQueen (also known as De Queen) Lakes. Fishing |
