Dierks Lake The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers constructed this impoundment along the Saline River, creating Dierks Lake for flood control purposes. Although fairly isolated, the lake sees plenty of water recreation enthusiasts, especially for boating and fishing. Dierks Lake is known for its great bass and crappie fishing as well as for swimming and skiing. This lake is one of what are known as South Arkansas's tri-lakes with Gillham and DeQueen (also known as De Queen) Lakes. Fishing |
