Inland Lake Inland Lake is one of the clearest and deepest reservoirs in Alabama, with water clarity of over ten feet in mean depths of 77 feet. Located about nine miles from Oneonta, Birmingham Water Works and Sewer Board of Birmingham operate this lake for water supply. This company also owns the 32.25 miles of shoreline property around the lake. The lake impounds the Blackburn Fork of the Little Warrior River. Boating Boaters can find two ramp access points -- one is located at the upper end of the lake off Highway 75 on Inland Boat Landing Road. The other ramp is located nine miles south of Oneonta off Highway 75 on Inland Dam Road. |
Lodging Although state parks are far from Inland Lake and there are few campgrounds in the area, visitors can find lodging at hotels in Oneonta, a town located nine miles northeast from the lake.
